Cari considers herself very lucky being able to make a living as an On-Air Talent and Voice-Over Artist for over 15 years in the community she grew up in. “We’ve got great listeners who also want the best for their families,” she says. “I thrive on taking pride in our home town and giving back by volunteering for local charities.” Some of these charities include LEEP, Kiwanis Holiday Lights, American Heart Association and the Salvation Army. When she’s not working, Cari loves planting flowers and painting the various wood projects her fiance builds. She also enjoys chasing after their 3 kids.

Ty James is originally from San Diego, California, but has been in Minnesota for the past 20 years (thats a long time without hopping on a surfboard!). Music has always been a part of his life. Ty was the lead singer in a band in the 90’s, and has collaborated or performed with some big names: Jewel, Beck, Stone Temple Pilots, No Doubt, Jacob Dylan, and many others. Ty is the epitome of a “sports junkie” – he played 3 seasons of professional baseball in Mexico! He has also coached baseball and football on the youth and high school level. But Ty’s favorite thing in the world is being a dad. He has a teenage son, Isaac – and the two are truly ‘partners in crime’. A total animal lover, Ty claims that he can communicate with cats and dog, and would be a vet had it not been for radio.
