Digital Media Director

This person is responsible for the overall management of Radio Mankato’s digital platforms. This includes, but is not limited to, station websites, web site content, social media content, digital content distribution to partner platforms and all digital platform strategies.

Duties include:

  • Create, edit and maintain multiple websites
    • Write blog posts
    • Maintain event calendars
    • Create and schedule slide images
    • Monitor website traffic and provide monthly reports
  • Take photos and/or shoot and edit video for radio station events and promotions
  • Design print and online advertisements for the radio stations, upcoming events, and promotions
  • Social media engagement
    • Post about radio station contests, promotions, and event
    • Share links to drive website traffic
    • Respond to Facebook messages and tweets
  • Create and send e-newsletters
  • Event notifications, pre-sales, local news, etc.
  • Edit and upload audio segments
  • Stay on top of current trends
  • Delegate work and supervise interns as needed


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Graphic Design
  • 2+ years experience in digital marketing, web and/or graphic design
  • Extensive knowledge of Adobe creative suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
  • Basic coding skills (HTML, CSS)
  • Photography/videography skills a plus
  • Creative thinker and innovator
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Takes direction and works well independently or in a team environment
