East falls in State Girls Soccer Semifinals; Cleveland plays for Section title in Volleyball

Class AA State Girls Soccer Tournament Semifinals

Top seed Mahtomedi 2, 4^th seed Mankato East 1. Cougars were up 1-0 after Halftime, but the Zephyrs would score 2 in the 2md half. Mankato East will face 3^rd seed Holy Angels for 3^rd place today at the West St Paul Regional Athletics Center at 11am

Section 2A Volleyball Final tonight

2^nd seed Cleveland faces top seed Buffalo Lake Hector Stewart at 6 in St Peter. Clippers are 25-6, the Mustangs are 27-2.  The Clippers did beat Buffalo Lake 3-1 during the regular season. Cleveland is looking for their first ever trip to state.
