CityArt Calls for Artist Submissions for 2025/2026 Commemorative Swag Design
CityArt, the organization behind the renowned walking sculpture tour in the City Centers of Mankato and North Mankato, is inviting artists to submit original designs for the CityArt 2025/2026 commemorative swag. The selected artist will receive a $200 award and recognition on the CityArt website.
The theme for the design is “The Beauty of Public Art”, celebrating the impact of public art and highlighting CityArt’s diverse programming, including the CityArt Walking Sculpture Tour, CityArt On the Go (murals and traffic boxes), Silo Art, and the Public Art Tour. Artists are encouraged to explore these themes and incorporate them into a compelling visual that embodies the spirit of CityArt. The winning design will be featured on various promotional items such as t-shirts, mugs, and notecards. To align with CityArt’s branding, the artwork must include the CityArt logo, the text “Mankato and North Mankato,” and the years 2025/2026.
Submissions must be submitted digitally by March 10, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. to amy@twinriversarts.org. The selected artist will collaborate with CityArt to ensure the final artwork is provided in the necessary digital format for reproduction.
