Good Thunder Mayor Arrested For Financial Conflicts

On 10-19-22 the Blue Earth Sheriff’s Office followed up on an investigative referral from the  Office of the State Auditor regarding incidents of possible financial conflicts of interest  involving the Good Thunder Mayor Robert John Anderson.

Investigators executed multiple search warrants to recover relevant documents and did arrest  Robert Anderson without incident at his home at approximately 12:41 pm on 10-19-22. Robert  Anderson remains in custody on related charges pending his initial court appearance.

The investigation also remains ongoing.
