Highway 22 St. Peter to Highway 111 resurfacing project complete

The Highway 22 resurfacing project between St. Peter and Highway 111 is complete and the detour is expected to be removed by 5 pm, today, Wednesday, Oct. 22, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.

Work began on July 14 and included resurfacing approximately 12 miles of Highway 22, from the intersection with Nicollet County Road 20 to Highway 111. Additional improvements included adding a right turn lane at Nicollet County Road 20, upgraded intersection lighting, and culvert repairs.

Ulland Brothers, Inc. was awarded the project with a bid of $3,873,434.47
