- A dump truck driver was killed Monday evening after his vehicle crossed a southeastern Minnesota highway and crashed into a ditch. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the incident occurred around 7:20 p.m. just outside of Winona. Authorities say the dump truck was traveling north when it crossed both the eastbound and westbound lanes of the highway. The vehicle then entered a ditch and rolled onto its side. The driver is a 68-year-old man from Fountain City, Wisconsin. His name has not been released.
- The Minnesota D-N-R’s K-9 Unit is welcoming four new dogs and their handlers. Officials say the new teams will enhance the agency’s ability to detect aquatic invasive species, locate individuals, identify potential game and fish violations, and support local law enforcement. Conservation Officer Cassie Block and K-9 Jet will be stationed in Two Harbors, Officer Dustin Roemeling and K-9 Cora are in Worthington, Officer Annett Schlag and K-9 Trapper are stationed in Rochester, and Officer Jake Swedberg and K-9 Axel are based in Detroit Lakes.

- There are no serious injuries following a three-vehicle crash in downtown Rochester. The collision happened this morning at the corner of East Center Street and Civic Center Drive Southeast. A city street light was damaged during the incident.
- Through search warrants, the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office recovered around sixty-five thousand dollars worth of stolen property, including three firearms, on Monday. Deputies responded to a report of a burglary in Scambler Township near Pelican Lake. Through a coordinated search with Clay County, Becker County, Barnesville, and Fargo authorities, Justin Bremer of Barnesville was arrested and is currently being held at the Clay County Detention Facility.
