Mankato Police searching for Suspect in Sunday Stabbing

At approximately 12:24 p.m. Sunday, officers responded to Eastport Drive for a report of a stabbing. Upon arrival, officers located a victim suffering from a stab wound to the neck. The victim was transported to Mayo Clinic Health System to be treated for injuries.

The investigation has identified the suspect as Lul Gatbel Lul (DOB: 6/16/01) of Lake Crystal. Lul is a black male, approximately 6 feet tall, weighing 150 lbs. He was last seen wearing blue jeans and a white t-shirt.

He was observed leaving the area in a white 2015 Chrysler 200 with Minnesota license plate RPP 986.
