(St. Paul, MN)  —  Two Minnesota House bills would require some maintenance equipment to be powered by electricity.  The House Commerce, Finance, and Policy committee is considering a bill that would prohibit the sale of gas-powered lawn equipment after 2025.  A similar measure would require all new zambonis sold after 2025 to be electric.  No action has been taken.
