Minnesota House Votes To Ban Conversion Therapy For Minors
(St. Paul, MN) — Conversion therapy for minors is a step closer to being banned in Minnesota. A bill passed yesterday in the state House that would outlaw the practice that is designed to change a person’s sexual orientation or gender identity. The legislation was approved by an 81-to-47 vote. The bill must now be passed by the Senate before reaching Governor Tim Walz’s desk.
