Minnesota Jobless Rate Inches Up, Still Near Record Low
(Minneapolis, MN) — It’s a sign of the economy in Minnesota. The state’s jobless rate jumped a bit last month, but unemployment remains at a near-record low. The latest numbers from the Minnesota Employment and Economic Development office puts the unemployment rate at one-point-nine percent for August. That’s up from one-point-eight percent back in July, but still the lowest in the nation.
