North Mankato Police Respond to Vehicle Rollover in Residential Neighborhood

On July 13th, at 1:46am. North Mankato Police, North Mankato Fire and MAYO Clinic Ambulance Service were dispatched to a rollover crash on the 1600 block of Howard Dr.

Officers arrived to find a Chevrolet Blazer on its side with a female party still inside the vehicle. Officers were unable to reach the person given the position of the vehicle.

Madisyn Nicole Leona Riemer-Anderson, age 20, of North Mankato was extricated from the vehicle and transported to MCHS for minor injuries. No other occupants were present in the vehicle.

Police determined that the vehicle was westbound on Howard Dr. when it left the roadway while navigating a curve. The vehicle struck a boulder, overturned, and then struck a tree.

Alcohol and speed were contributing factors in the crash.

Police continue to investigate.
