Settlement Approved Between The City Of Minneapolis, George Floyd Protestors

(Minneapolis, MN)  —   A federal judge is approving a settlement between the city of Minneapolis and a dozen protestors who were hurt during demonstrations that followed George Floyd’s murder.  Under the terms of the deal, the protestors will divide a 600-thousand dollar payment from the city.  The order also calls for the city not to arrest, threaten to arrest or use force against anyone who lawfully protests or demonstrates.  The agreement also dismisses two lawsuits filed against the city and Minneapolis police.
