Keynote speakers include Ed Usset, Grain Marketing Specialist, and Holly Hoffman, South Dakota Rancher and Survivor contestant. The high school student session will also feature presentations by Usset and Hoffman.
“We’re very pleased to offer the session geared toward high school students again this year. We’re excited to introduce students to South Central College and share information about education for Ag careers and additional opportunities,” said Erin Aanenson, Executive Director, SCC North Mankato Campus Foundation.
South Central College (SCC) is home to one of Minnesota’s most respected Agriculture programs. Long recognized as leaders in Agribusiness, Ag Management and Ag Service, SCC’s Ag programs have been preparing students to be the best in their respective disciplines since the early 1960s. Statistical data collected by the college’s Farm Business Management program is often cited by Ag authorities across the state and nation. The 13th Annual South Central College Ag Symposium leverages this expertise for non-students.
Cost for the one-day Ag Symposium is $125. Special funding is available for Veterans. All proceeds support Ag scholarships, program advancement, and general Foundation needs at South Central College, North Mankato Campus. Lunch is included in the ticket price.
