State Health Commissioner Set to Retire
Minnesota Health Commissioner Jan Malcolm is set to retire on January 3rd after a long career in public service. Malcolm played a pivotal role in the state’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic and knows we’d like to think of COVID as a thing of the past:
“There’s a great desire and an understandable one, to think of COVID as something in the past, but it is most certainly still with us. And it’s important that people understand both the risks that do remain and the very important tools that we have now available to manage these risks.”
Malcolm says the last 33 months have left many Minnesotans with COVID fatigue which she says is understandable.
