City Manager Susan Arntz presented the State of the City to the City Council on Monday evening. The document features accomplishments driven by the 5-year Strategic Plan and looks ahead to 2025 projects.

“By prioritizing fiscal responsibility, we’ve ensured that every dollar is spent with care, enhancing the quality of life in our community. Together, we have celebrated many infrastructure improvements, expanded housing options, and enhanced transportation systems, all while maintaining our City’s financial health,” Arntz stated. “Our Strategic Plan is a commitment to our community and our staff. Together, we will build on the momentum of the past year to shape the future.”

The Strategic Plan is organized into six key areas:

  1. Housing
  2. Sustainable infrastructure
  3. Community Connection and Livability
  4. Community Safety
  5. Economy
  6. Adaptive Organization

Each area is tied to work already underway or future projects as outlined in State of the City
