Minnesota Secretary of State Steve Simon says three weeks before the election, 152-thousand early voting/absentee ballots have been accepted in Minnesota…

…”ahead of the pace for 2018, which is the best apples-to-apples comparison — the last non-presidential, mid-term election… — So we’re a little bit ahead of the pace for absentee ballot acceptance rate now, than we were at the same point four years ago.”

Simon indicates it bodes well for voter turnout in the November election and says “it looks like people are as engaged, or more engaged, now than they’ve ever been.”
