Austin Woman Sentenced To Prison For Role In Overdose Deaths
(Austin, MN) – An Austin woman will spend approximately nine years in prison in connection to two overdose deaths. Yashica Shenay Thomas faced third degree murder charges for allegedly selling a deadly dose of drugs to an Austin man who died in March of last year. She was also charged for a woman’s overdose death in May. She pleaded guilty to two counts of third degree murder in January and will now serve 110-month and 86-month sentences concurrently.
