Baynes Family Donates $500,000 For Jefferson Playground

Mankato Area Public Schools (MAPS) announced a major gift to Jefferson Elementary School.

Kyle Baynes and his family have donated $500,000 to fund a new playground at Jefferson.  This has been a goal of the school and the parent teacher organization for many years, and the Baynes family gift will help get the project done in 2023.  

Baynes is an alum of Jefferson and has a current and future student attending the school.
