Gustavus Adolphus College invites the community to celebrate the cherished holiday tradition Christmas in Christ Chapel, held December 5–7 in Christ Chapel on campus. Now more than 50 years strong, the 2025 theme—Seeking Hope: Dreams of a New Way—weaves together choral music, orchestral performance, dance, and spoken word to reflect the wonder and meaning of the Advent season.
Featuring the Gustavus Choir, Choir of Christ Chapel, Christ Chapel Ringers, Gustavus Symphony Orchestra, Lucia Singers, and members of the Gustavus Dance Company, the service showcases students from across disciplines in a beautiful, immersive worship experience. The program concludes with the beloved traditional finale, O Come, All Ye Faithful.
The 2025 service also features commissioned artwork by renowned artist He Qi, offering a visual expression of this year’s theme.
