City of Mankato Offers Christmas Tree Recycling
Christmas tree recycling is a value-added opportunity to Mankato’s garbage and recycling service. Christmas Trees are typically collected from December 26th until mid January. Recycled trees are used as mulch.
Locations
- Franklin Rogers Park, 601 Reed Street – south side of parking lot
- Highland Park, 50 Warren Street – front lot
- Sibley Park, 900 Mound Avenue – back lot (ball field side parking lot)
- Tourtellotte Park, 300 Mabel Street – parking lot by pickleball courts
