Democrats are getting ready to welcome Vice President Kamala Harris to Minnesota tomorrow (Sat) for a reproductive rights event in Saint Paul, followed by a fundraiser in Minneapolis for Governor Tim Walz.  Republicans meanwhile have a news conference this afternoon (230pm) at a downtown Saint Paul light rail station, where a repeat felon bailed out of jail by a Minnesota group allegedly murdered a passenger on the platform.  G-O-P candidate for governor Scott Jensen says Vice President Harris endorsed that group during the George Floyd riots in 2020:

“She’s done nothing that I know of to recant, and we continue to see Tim Walz’s Department of Corrections, as well some of the liberal judges, not abide by… minimum sentences.”

The Walz campaign did not respond to an earlier request for comment.
