Election Day is Nov. 8

The election is one day away, with the latest poll showing Democrats with a slight edge in the governor’s race, but Republican challenger Jim Schultz leading Democratic incumbent Keith Ellison for attorney general:

“We have got to close strong!    We have got to close strong!”

…Ellison told a rally of party faithful heading into the final weekend of the campaign.  He’s been hammering Schultz on the abortion issue, warning his Republican challenger would support a ban.  Schultz responds policymaking is the job of the legislature and governor, not the attorney general.  He’s been hammering Ellison on public safety, saying the attorney general allied himself with those who want to defund the police.
