First District Congressional Race is Rematch

The race for Congress in Minnesota’s First Congressional District is a re-match of the special election held earlier this year.

It features incumbent Republican Brad Finstad and challenger Jeff Ettinger.

Ettinger is the former CEO of Hormel Foods.

Finstad is a fourth generation farmer from just outside of New Ulm.

Finstad won the special election to fill the seat vacated by the late Congressman Jim Hagedorn.
