George Floyd’s Family Sues Kanye West For $250 Million

(Minneapolis, MN)  —  Kanye West is being sued for 250-million dollars by the mother of George Floyd’s daughter. Roxie Washington filed the lawsuit after West repeatedly spread falsehoods about Floyd’s death. Floyd died in 2020 while being arrested by former Minneapolis Police officer Derek Chauvin, who knelt on his neck for nearly nine minutes. The fentanyl overdose claim spread by West was disproved during Chauvin’s murder trial.
