Governor Walz Tweets Plans to Reduce Gun Violence
(St. Paul, MN) — Two shootings at two memorial services this weekend has Minnesota Governor Tim Walz tweeting about his plans to do something to curb the violence. Walz says the shootings are unacceptable. Three people were shot Friday. Then Saturday five more were shot, with two dead and one critical. Walz says in his tweets that he is committed to increasing public safety funding, getting illegal guns off the streets, and addressing gang activity.
