(St. Paul, MN)  —  A grant is making it possible to add stop-arm cameras to more Minnesota school buses.  The Minnesota Department of Public Safety Office and Traffic Safety has already awarded over seven-point-two million dollars to schools and transportation companies for the cameras since 2021 as part of the first two phases of the project.  The third phase of the four phase project is underway.  The aim of the Stop Arm Grant Project is to keep kids safe and hold drivers accountable who fail to stop for school buses when so required.
