KXLP’s Rock The Choir: Sing Onstage with Foreigner!

Calling all school choirs! Here’s your chance to shine on stage with legendary rock band Foreigner. High school, middle school, and youth groups are all invited to participate in this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Your task? Perform Foreigner’s iconic hit song “I Want to Know What Love Is” alongside the band during their concert happening at the Mayo Clinic Event Center. Foreigner’s “The Farewell Tour” – September 28th.

How to Enter:

To enter the competition, submit a video of your choir singing the chorus or hook of “I Want to Know What Love Is” to radiomankato@gmail.com. Keep your video under a minute in length to make sure it captures the essence of your performance. Foreigner can only accommodate up to 25 kids on stage.

Submission Deadline:

All videos must be submitted by May 10th to be considered for the competition. Late entries will not be accepted, so make sure to get your submission in on time!

Voting Period:

Once the submission deadline has passed, it’s time to rally your supporters. From May 15th to May 22nd, there will be a period of voting. Spread the word and encourage friends, family, and classmates to vote for your school choir. Visit radiomankato.com/kxlp to vote during that time.

Prize:

The winning choir will receive not only the incredible opportunity to perform with Foreigner but also a prize of $500 towards their program. This money can be used to support your choir’s activities, purchase new equipment, or fund future performances.

Winner Announcement:

The winner will be selected on May 23rd. The victorious choir will have the honor of joining Foreigner on stage to perform “I Want to Know What Love Is” during their concert.
