Mall Of America Testing Metal Detectors

(Bloomington, MN)  —   The Mall of America is upping its security measures after seeing two shootings and an armed robbery within the last year. The mall is now doing a trial run with metal detectors, a security feature it has never used before. The aim is to prevent weapons from being brought inside; guns have been banned since the mall first opened in 1992.
