Mankato Area Dollars for Scholars Christian Service Scholarship Recipients Announced
The Mankato Area Dollars for Scholars chapter announced recipients of Christian Service Scholarships Thursday, sponsored by Rob Bjerke of Western Specialized, Inc. of Mankato.
“We’re grateful to Rob for his leadership and generosity in helping young people from our area continue their education,” says Frank Brandt, President of the Mankato Area Dollars for Scholars chapter. “The partnership with Western Specialized is a great example of how our organization provides an effective, proven way for community members to enhance financial aid to local students.”
Recipients of the scholarships are:
- Ashley Pipes, Mankato West High School
- Rachel Ammann, Mankato Loyola High School
- Colin Kirschner, Mankato Loyola High School
Each of these students will receive $1,000 toward their college education, based on their Christian service during their High School careers.
The Mankato Area Dollars for Scholars chapter is a volunteer organization. 100% of donated scholarship monies are awarded to our local students.
