Mankato Area International Festival is on Nov. 13

Minnesota State University, Mankato is hosting the annual Mankato Area International Festival on Sunday, Nov. 13 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the University’s Centennial Student Union Ballroom.

A collaborative effort by the University’s Kearney International CenterCentennial Student Union, students and community members, the festival is open to the public and will feature food, music and dance performances from cultures around the world. There is no cost to attend, and tickets are available for purchases at food and vendor booths.

Food and performances will be provided mainly by Minnesota State Mankato international students and clubs, but other local and regional vendors, restaurants and performance groups are also participating.

The event is part of a Nov. 14-18 celebration of International Education Week, an annual tradition founded by the U.S. Department of State and U.S. Department of Education to celebrate the benefits of cultural education and exchange.
