(Prinsburg, MN)  —  A Minnesota town is shelving a proposed ordinance that would have pushed the city into the spotlight in the fight over abortion.  Prinsburg City Council voted unanimously over the weekend to abandon a proposed ordinance that would have allowed its residents to sue abortion providers.  The measure was pushed by a local Republican legislator and echoed legislation passed in several Republican-led states.  A statement on the city website says officials determined that the proposal was unconstitutional and out of the jurisdiction of the city.  City officials say there are no plans to continue discussions on the proposed ordinance.
