A bill passed by the Minnesota House Commerce committee this week aims to clarify ticket prices for concerts and events in the state.  Representative Kelly Moller of Shoreview says it calls for transparency in the ticketing industry:

“It includes “all-in” pricing which requires the ticket sellers disclose all the fees and charges to the consumer up front – so there are no surprises at the end of the process.”

Moller says this law would put control into consumers’ hands so they can make informed decisions about their ticket purchases.  The measure is in response to the ticketing fiasco involving the Taylor Swift tour in November.
