Multiple Agencies Respond to Fire at Niesen’s Riverside Sports Bar Monday Morning
Le Sueur County Sheriff Brett Mason reports that on Monday May 19th, 2025 at approximately 4:00 a.m. Le Sueur County Deputies along with St. Peter Police Officers responded to an entry door alarm at 34166 State Highway 99, Niesen’s Riverside Sports Bar.
Upon Officers’ arrival they observed smoke and flames coming from the roof/ventilation of the building. Kasota Fire Department along with St. Peter Fire Department arrived on scene and began fire suppression efforts. The fire was ultimately extinguished and the investigation into the cause and origin is underway.
