Nicollet Co. To Honor Veterans With Meal, Program

The Nicollet County Office of Veterans Services welcomes Nicollet County veterans to attend the annual  Veterans Day dinner program. The program will be held on Friday, November 11th at the Nicollet  American Legion. Doors will be open for a social hour beginning at 5:00 p.m., with a free meal served at  6:00. 

This year’s guest speaker will be Sergeant Major Brandon Macemon. SGM Macemon recently returned  home to our community along with his family after nearly 23 years of Army service. SGM Macemon’s  remarkable military career includes 19 years of service as a Green Beret within the United States Special  Operations Command and multiple combat deployments while advancing to the Army’s highest enlisted  rank.
