Oak Park Heights Correctional Officer Stabbed In Eye By Inmate

(Oak Park Heights, MN)  —  An Oak Park Heights inmate is facing charges after punching a correctional officer in the eye. On January 15, Dominique Jefferson attacked an officer, causing several facial fractures and permanently loss of vision in one eye. The officer went through several surgeries for the fractures and the eye, but vision was unable to be restored.
