State Of Minnesota Promoting Respect Our Roadside Heroes Campaign
(St. Paul, MN) — The state of Minnesota is promoting its Respect Our Roadside Heroes campaign. The campaign is aimed at reducing crashes that kill or injure first responders, tow truck drivers, and others assisting at crash sites. Officials say crash responders were hit nearly 550 times in Minnesota between 2017 and 2021. Authorities are reminding people to slow down when approaching crash scenes and to watch for flashing lights.
