Mankato-Take a historical City bus tour, “Mankato’s Heritage Preservation Landmarks,” on Thursday, May 9 at one of two tour times: 4 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. or on Saturday, May 11 at 10: a.m. Each tour will leave from the bus drop-off area in front of the Mayo Clinic Health System Event Center, located at 1 Civic Center Plaza. Seating is limited and is first-come, first-serve. Register by calling 311 or 507-387-8600 no later than 4:30 p.m. on Monday, May 6. There is no cost to participate.

Tour highlights will include properties listed as local heritage preservation landmarks and the corresponding heritage plaques.

The tour is hosted by the city of Mankato’s Heritage Preservation Commission, which promotes and preserves Mankato’s historic neighborhoods, buildings and places significant to city heritage.
