Thousands of Minnesotans will continue to save on health insurance through MNsure
This week’s signing of the Inflation Reduction Act by President Biden will result in a sweeping investment in health care affordability for Minnesotans. MNsure CEO Nate Clark:
“In fact by our estimates we are projecting that over 70,000 Minnesotans are going to have their health care costs kept more in check simply because of this legislation. So we are really excited about it.”
Clark estimates Minnesotans will receive up to $282 million in tax credits this year alone. Tax credits act as an instant discount for premiums and are only available to consumers who purchase coverage through MNsure. The Inflation Reduction Act extends the expanded tax credits for three years, through 2025.
