U.S. Supreme Court Will Hear the Biden Student Loan Debt Forgiveness Plan This Week

(Washington, DC)  —  More than five-hundred-thousand Minnesotans are waiting to hear if they will receive student loan forgiveness.  The Biden plan would forgive up to ten, or 20-thousand dollars for former students with incomes less than 125-thousand dollars.  The U.S. Supreme Court will hear the case this week – Tuesday.  But it could be days, weeks, or even months before the Court publishes its decision.  Two students who don’t qualify for the higher forgiveness amount sued, saying the Biden plan bypassed normal rule-making processes.  Six Republican states have also sued, saying Biden improperly used the HEROES act for the forgiveness plan.
