United Way Kickoff in Elysian/Scoops: Aug. 20

Greater Mankato Area United Way hosts its 2023 Campaign Kickoff in Elysian at its third annual Scoops for a Cause fundraiser, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday, August 20 at Scoops Ice Cream.

All purchases throughout the day will benefit Greater Mankato Area United Way, which seeks to raise $2,150,000 during the campaign for its essential partner programs.

The event features musical acts on Scoops’ outdoor stage:

·         11 a.m.-1 p.m.: Loose Gravel Band

·         1-2 p.m.: Bob Little

·         2-4 p.m.: Hannah Bo

·         4-5 p.m.: Sean Benz

·         7-9 p.m.: Random Characters
