Wells Woman Hospitalized after Semi Crash near Waterville

A Wells woman was hospitalized after a collision with a semi near Waterville. The crash occurred yesterday at 10:30 AM on Highway 13 at Milepost 44 near Waterville near Le Sueur County. A 2012 Honda CRV, driven by Janise Bogenschutz Brindley, age 73 of Wells and a 2024 Freightliner Semi driven by Frank Paul Prorock of Longmont Colorado were both traveling southbound on Highway 13 when the vehicles collided. Brindley was transported to Mayo Clinic in Rochester with non-life threatening injuries. Both drivers were wearing their seatbelts. LeSueur County Sheriff’s Office, Waterville Police and Fire, North Ambulance and AirCare assisted at the scene.
