Women in Agriculture Retreat hosted by U of M Extension
A transformative weekend retreat called Annie’s Project will be held for farmers and ranchers who want to foster connections, share knowledge and empower individuals passionate about agriculture. This educational retreat is geared to women farmers, but all people are invited to attend including long-time, beginner, and future farmers from both urban and rural areas. The event will inspire collaboration, growth, and empowerment.
The Annie’s Project Retreat is being offered by the U of M Extension Women in Ag Network Friday-Sunday, October 3-5, 2025, near Cambridge, Minnesota. Annie’s Project is for any farmer or rancher looking to understand farm management and decision-making topics better. Annie’s Project is designed to empower farm businesses in today’s complex, dynamic world of agriculture.

The event will include a variety of engaging workshops, insightful speakers, and numerous opportunities for renewal and connection with others involved in farming. These activities are designed to address the unique challenges and opportunities faced by women in the agricultural sector. Whether you are an urban farmer, a rural farmer, or anywhere in between, your perspective and experience are invaluable to our collective success.
The cost is $199, and this includes overnight accommodations and meals at the retreat center at Lakeside Camp, 32393 Rendova Circle NE, Cambridge, MN 55008. Capacity is limited to the first 16 people.
