CWD Testing Kits Now Being Offered

Deer hunters now have another way to test for CWD (Chronic Wasting Disease) The DNR’s Eric Hildenbrand says you can sign up and get a testing kit mailed to your home:

“This is free of charge to the hunter and hunters could go to the DNR website and sign up to get a kit mailed to them.  The hunter would be required to pull out the sample out of their deer.”

Hunters will receive their results within 7-10 days after the sample has been submitted.
