Full-Time Engineering Position:

The City of Owatonna Engineering Division believes that thriving communities depend on the quality of their streets and utilities. The Engineering department creates a better tomorrow by designing and maintaining safe and lasting critical City infrastructure. We are hiring one full-time equivalency (FTE) in one of the following classifications: Engineering Technician II, Engineering Technician III, Engineering Specialist, Civil Engineer.

Engineering Intern Position:

The City of Owatonna Engineering Division is seeking an individual currently enrolled in a Civil Engineering or related, college program, to join us as an Engineering Intern this summer! The intern position provides assistance on survey crew, performs inspection activities as directed by Engineering personnel, performs drafting tasks relating to City map updating, information gathering for pavement management program, collects data and other duties as assigned.
