Authorities announce arrests and charges related to homicide investigation. Investigation continuing

The North Mankato Police Department and Nicollet County Attorney’s office announce that arrests have been made, and charges filed related to the May 23rd murder of Tyson Goodsell.

Ahmed Fuad Mohamud, age 23, of Shakopee MN, is currently in custody and has been charged with:

1) Felony Attempted 1st Degree Aggravated Robbery and;
2) Felony Conspiracy to Commit 1st Degree Aggravated Robbery.

In addition, Ryan Robert Wolner, age 18, of rural Mankato MN, is also in custody and has been charged with:
1) Felony Aiding and Abetting 1st Degree Aggravated Robbery
2) Felony Conspiracy to Commit 1st Degree Aggravated Robbery
3) Felony Aiding an Offender Accomplice After the Fact- Obstruction of Investigation 2nd Degree Murder
4) Felony Aiding an Offender Accomplice After the Fact- Obstruction of Investigation Attempted 1st Degree Aggravated Robbery, and;
5) Felony Aiding an Offender to Avoid Arrest-Harbor/Conceal

Investigators have identified additional persons of interest as they continue reviewing evidence, statements, and other information gathered during the investigation. The investigation remains active and ongoing. Additional arrests or charges are possible as information is developed. Police appreciate the assistance and valuable information that has been provided by members of the public.
