Beware of holiday scams

Many of us will shop online this holiday season. The Better Business Bureau’s Bao Vang says “holiday” apps spring up this time of year:

“Be wary of any free apps, as they might contain advertisements, lead you down nefarious links that might take your money or steal your personal information.”

Vang is urging consumers to do their research before uploading any free apps.
