Blue Earth County Library System Presents “Color Our World” Summer Learning Program
Get ready for a summer bursting with creativity and fun! The Blue Earth County Library System (BECLS) is thrilled to launch its annual Summer Learning Program one week from today, June 9, 2025, kicking off two months of excitement designed to keep young minds buzzing all summer!
This year’s theme, “Color Our World,” invites the community to explore the magic of art and creativity and celebrate the myriad ways in which art enriches our lives. We’ve lined up an incredible mix of hands-on activities, fascinating workshops, and inspiring cultural events for all ages to enjoy!
Kids and adults alike can track their reading to earn awesome prizes, attend engaging events, and explore everything the library offers—from books and movies to fun-filled activities for the whole family. Mark your calendars and prepare to learn, create, and explore with us this summer!
The Summer Learning Program’s calendar of more than fifty events includes musical guests, a weaving workshop, pickleball, visits from furry (and scaley!) friends, and even tie-dyeing sessions to make our Summer Learning Program 2025 t-shirts as colorful as possible. With activities tailored for kids, tweens, teens, and adults, along with plenty of fun for the whole family, there’s something for everyone. Events will take place across our library locations in Mankato, Mapleton, Lake Crystal, and Amboy. As always, everything is free!
