Blue Earth County Library System Welcomes Minnesota Poet Laureate Gwen Westerman

The Blue Earth County Library System (BECLS) is pleased to welcome Minnesota Poet Laureate Gwen Westerman to the Library in Mankato on Saturday, November 8, at 10:30 AM. Westerman will lead a discussion about her and Bruce White’s nonfiction book on Dakota history in Minnesota, Mni Sota Makoce: The Land of the Dakota. Westerman’s creative and scholarly work bridges poetry, history, and culture — which adds a rich dimension to the event. All are welcome to attend this free event!
