The City of North Mankato will be hosting two in-person “Brewing New Ideas” public engagement sessions this fall to receive big ideas and public input regarding
opportunities in North Mankato.

The public is invited to attend either Brewing New Ideas Session #1 on Wednesday, September
28th from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Mankato Brewery (1119 Center St.) or Session #2 on
Wednesday, October 19th from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Spring Lake Park Warming House (630
McKinley Ave.)

At each session, City staff will prompt discussion regarding what makes residents feel connected
to our community, what opportunities currently exist, and what big ideas should be considered
for future projects. Light refreshments and beverages will be provided each night, and beer will
be available for purchase at the brewery. A raffle drawing will be held each night for gift baskets
from the City and Mankato Brewery.

Residents are asked to register for the session they plan on attending. Register by signing up
online at www.northmankato.com/brewingnewideas or by calling 507-625-4141.
For residents who are interested in providing input but are unable to make it to either session, a
survey will be open online at www.northmankato.com/brewingnewideas from 12:00 a.m. until
4:00 p.m. on the day of each session. Ideas electronically submitted will be included in that
evening session’s discussions.

Questions may be directed to City Planner Matt Lassonde at matthewl@northmankato.com or
507-514-6456.
